The Kemmelberg is the perfect destination for those who love nature, movement and breathtaking views. While hiking, you will discover winding woodland paths and open fields. Cyclists can take on the famous climbs and are rewarded with panoramic views over the rolling countryside.

There is plenty for children to enjoy on and around our campsite. Here, they have all the space they need to play outdoors, build dens and explore the natural surroundings of Heuvelland.

Within walking distance, you will find Warandepark in Kemmel, featuring a playground where children can have fun while parents relax.

For curious young explorers, Heuvellab offers an interactive way to learn more about the region and the history of the First World War.

Looking for a day full of excitement? Bellewaerde theme park is only about 15 minutes away by car. And for animal lovers, De Zonnegloed, a sanctuary for rescued wild animals, is a special and educational experience for both young and old.

Culture, heritage and events in Heuvelland

The region around Kemmel and Ypres breathes history. Visit the Kemmelberg Command Bunker, the Lettenberg bunkers or walk through the reconstructed trenches of Bayernwald. Tyne Cot Cemetery and the Pool of Peace are also impressive memorial sites from the First World War.
