With heart and soul for camping in Heuvelland
My name is Melissa, and together with my mother and my stepfather Jan, we are embarking on a wonderful adventure: rebuilding a cosy and welcoming campsite in the heart of Heuvelland, on the slope of the Kemmelberg and close to the village of Kemmel.
Jan previously managed a campsite where family, friends and togetherness were at the centre of everything. Hospitality is his greatest strength. With his many years of experience, he is my greatest mentor in creating a warm and carefree experience for our campers.
As an eight-year-old girl, I spent every weekend at the campsite with my parents. Camping has been in my heart and soul from a very young age. It has always been my dream to pass on that feeling of freedom, connection and joy to people like you.
